Monique

Founder & Director of Core X Pilates,

XTEND Barre & Pilates Instructor

Monique is no stranger to movement, having started dancing when she was 3 years old. She’s always been keen to stay active and healthy, and fell in love with the XTEND Barre workout the first time she walked into the studio and felt the muscle burn and feel good endorphins of a great workout. Completing her instructor qualification in 2017, she then went onto to complete her Pilates Mat and Reformer Training.

Having spent more than 15 years in the Corporate Finance world after studying her CPA and MBA, she realised she wanted to focus on her passion of fitness and helping people discover the Benefits of Pilates and achieving their Fitness and wellness goals.

Sarah

Pilates Instructor

Sarah has a diploma of professional pilates instruction and found a love of pilates afte suffering years of pain and poor posture as a makeup artist.

Sarah enjoys nothing more than to share the life changing benefits of pilates with others so they can also experience the strength, relief and freedom of movement just as she has.

Theodora

Yoga Instructor

Theodora is a former international track and field athlete and trainer who took up yoga to help with injuries and performance. The benefits that followed led her to become a teacher and share the healing powers of yoga. Theodora is Hatha trained and teaches a fusion of yoga styles in her classes.

Jas

Yoga & Pilates Instructor

Jas started practicing yoga and pilates 10 years ago on and off at her local gym. At the time Jas was more interested in cardio, zumba and weight training and as she started to attend more yoga classes, she slowly started to notice changes to her body and mind and eventually got hooked! 

Yoga became the secret ingredient to a calmer, collected and more peaceful mind, whether she was on her mat or going about her daily life. 

 In 2019, Jas completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Balance Yoga Sydney and her focus since has been to  take her students on their own yoga journey, whilst being present in the moment and moving their body with kindness and consciousness. 

Lily

XTEND Barre Instructor

Lily discovered her love for working out through her years of classical ballet training. She has achieved an Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts at ED5 International in pursuit of a career in the arts. Upon finishing her Advanced Diploma, Lily was introduced to XTEND and immediately recognised that it was both her passions fused into one – the duality of art and science. While instructing XTEND, Lily has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Human Science, Majoring in Human Movement and will commence postgraduate studies in the Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University with the hopes of integrating the science into her teaching.
